November – December 2022: Training girls and guardians:
ð Attend training for the level of experience you have.
ð TCMs will receive girl materials from the Service Unit Cookie Manager.
ð TCM will work with the girls and guardians to set personal and troop goals.
ð Troops should plan for the “First
$25” earned in proceeds to be used to register each returning Girl Scout during
Early Renewal registration.
ð Talk to parents about safety and how
to keep their daughters and the rest of the girls safe during the Girl Scout
Cookie Program.
ð Go over deadlines with girls and
guardians.
ð Have guardians sign up for cookie
booths and inform them of the booth guidelines.
ð Secure a signed Cookie Program
parent/guardian permission form for each girl.
ð Review cookie pick-up and money
procedures.
ð Collect money from girls and guardians
frequently throughout the program.
ð Schedule times to collect money at
troop meetings or at another agreed upon time.
ð Money envelopes are provided for
girls and guardians to assist with the collection of money.
ð For each payment received, the TCM
must issue a receipt and give the guardian/girl a copy and retain the original
for the troop’s records.
ð Give parents/guardians the links to
register for the Girl Rallies. There will be games, learning, and fun for all.
ð Give parents/guardians the links to
register for the Parent Virtual Assistance Meetings to help with Digital Cookie
registration and questions. This will be very informative for your parents to
attend.
ð Refer caregivers to the 2023 Family Guide.
December
12, 2022: Girls begin selling to potential customers:
ð Girls can use their order cards to
sell to potential customers in person.
ð Girls can use Digital Cookie to send
emails, share their storefront on social media, or share in person to potential
customers.
January 23,
2023: Submit Initial Cookie and Rewards Orders via eBudde by 11:59 pm:
ð The TCM must enter the paper order cards in
eBudde.
ð After you submit the troop Initial
Order, the rewards will automatically calculate.
ð The TCM can order “troop inventory”
as Booth or Other cookies in the Initial Order tab. GSNCA suggests you order
enough for two booths on your initial order. Estimate unassigned cookies based on the girls' Initial Orders
ð Review the Rewards tab in eBudde to
make any size choices necessary.
ð TCM must submit both orders by 11:59
pm via eBudde on January 23, 2023 **Deadlines in eBudde are date and time
sensitive**
ð The Goal Getter period begins when the
Initial Order is submitted.
February 2023:
Cookies on the go
Cookie Booth Scheduler Round 1 and Round 2, and Round 3
Booth phase begins
Volunteers warehouse cupboards open
March 2023:
Payment through ACH debit – ½ of Initial Order minus Digital Cookie credits:
ð Collect money from parents and make
frequent deposits into your troop bank account to make sure funds are available
for ACH debit.
ð If your troop will not have the
payment by the deadline, you must fill out the Product Program ACH Debit
Extension Request Form. This form must be sent to gward@girlscoutsnca.org no later than 3 business days before the date of the
ACH debit.
ð Troops that turn in an extension
request or have an ACH returned due to insufficient funds will be contacted to
discuss the reason for non-payment. The troop will not be allowed to pick up
any more cookies until payment is made.
ð A parent meeting will be held, if needed, to plan how to sell, to donate, or transfer to other troops needing cookies.
